This is NZR because I'm talking about a Bimmer, but it's ZR because it applies to Z's as well. I'm looking at an E36 that has an existing exhaust system that is too loud for my taste. Rather than replace it with another system, are there any modifications (a device that can be stuck in the pipes?) that can silence it a bit? I realize it may restrict flow slightly, but as long as it doesn't cause problems or noticeably hurt horsepower, I'm willing to do it. The reason I'm planning to sell the Z is that I'll need a 4 seater, at least for the next year. Then it's probably time to succumb to the darkside. Thanks!
